Foxearth Garden Party and Fete – 4th July 2015

Saturday July 4th produced a glorious, sunny and warm afternoon for this event held at Hunters Lodge. In addition to the usual array of stalls for home made cakes, bric-a-brac, books etc  there was a tombola and a raffle and competitions involving a bit of guesswork or manual dexterity. For the young and active a Bouncy Castle gave the opportunity to throw themselves about. Amazing teas were served as Melford Silver Band entertained with their skilful musicianship – and villagers near and neighbouring turned out to enjoy the fun and contribute to a wonderful result of around £1,400 for the Parish Church. As ever we are grateful to Louise and Nick Wells for allowing their lovely garden to be invaded..and sincere thanks to everyone involved.
