Foxearth Christmas Fayre

The Foxearth Christmas Fayre held on Saturday 29th November was a resounding success raising in excess of £1,600 . After the heavy rain of the previous few days several cars needed assistance to get off the grass but the sun shone and there was a constant stream of visitors from 10am until almost 3pm.

Foxearth Hall Barn was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, trimmings and lights reflecting a great deal of hard work on the part of Pam and John. A large array of stalls included tombola, bric-a-brac, preserves and sweets, cakes, cards and paintings and there was a raffle. A number of private stall holders added to the variety of attractions on offer. Tea, coffee, scones and cakes and mulled wine kept hunger and thirst at bay. Festive entertainment flowed from the arms of a group of handbell ringers from Sudbury and Father Christmas was much in evidence doing his usual thing.

We express our sincerest thanks to Pam and Ray Pluck for their generosity in providing a comfortable and lovely venue, to many others who helped in so many ways and to all who came along with their purses and wallets.
