New Toilets at the Village Hall now Operational

Dear Resident,

As of today (New Year’s Eve) the new toilet extension at our village hall has become operational and, fittingly, will be used for the first time at a New Year’s Eve open event organised by Alison Smith and Barney Excell in which all residents of Foxearth & Liston are warmly invited (bring your own supplies).

As Chairman of Foxearth and Liston Parish Council, on behalf of all our residents, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the trustees of the Foxearth Village Hall Charitable Trust (which I should point out is run for the benefit of both Foxearth and Liston residents) in their tireless efforts to provide us with these new and very much improved facilities.

Thanks to Roger Messer and Richard Christmas for managing the project and to David Busby and Clive and Mary Waite for the final commissioning and above all to David Busby for his dedication in completing the countless application forms that generated the £35,000 in grant funds required to get the work completed.

If you have passed by the village hall in the last week or so, you will know that, as part of the project, the frontage has also received a complete makeover.

We now have a community centre to be proud of so please be sure to support its use as much as you can.

Our community sincerely thanks you the trustees of our village hall.

Colin Flux

Chairman

Foxearth and Liston Parish Council
