Pebbles: A leading pre-school in the heart of the country

For over 30 years, Pebbles has been providing high quality pre-school education for children aged between two and five. Meeting the individual needs of all children lies at the heart of the school. We deliver personalised learning, development and care to help children get the best possible start in life.

We believe that children benefit most from early years education and care when parents and pre-school work together in partnership. We support parents as their children’s first and most enduring educators by involving them in the full life of the setting.

Pebbles works under the early years foundation stage guidelines, which focuses on learning through play. The pre-school offers play in a safe and stimulating environment, we provide a wide range of resources to cater for all levels of ability. The resources are easily accessed by all and children are encouraged to self-select activities of their own choice.

Being outdoors has a positive impact on a child’s well being and helps all aspects of a child’s development.

We aim to provide outdoor experiences every day and we benefit from having two outdoor areas.

First, our playground, which has a 100% covering of all weather high tech safety surface, so no matter what the weather we can get outside.

Second, “The Patch”, our planting and growing area, located in a rural setting just 50 yards from the school.

Congratulations from Foxearth History Society

The chairman and committee of the Foxearth History Society send their congratulations to The Foxearth Village Hall Charitable Trust for their hard work and dedication to get the village community website up and running in such a short space of time. We are convinced that this facility will greatly increase the lines of information and enable everyone, not just the village but many other local and not so local participants to obtain helpful and informative facts about the services and products offered in the vicinity.

Well done
